Retail Price (ARP)
Average Retail Price
The Average Retail Price represents what you would pay to purchase a cigar new from authorized retailers today.
How It's Calculated
- We aggregate prices from verified Cuban cigar retailers worldwide
- Prices are updated weekly from trusted sources
- Outliers and promotional prices are filtered out
- Currency-adjusted to USD for consistency
Why It Matters
Retail price establishes the baseline cost of acquisition. When comparing to Market or Age-Adjusted prices, you can see whether aged cigars are trading at a premium or discount to new stock.
Example
A Cohiba Siglo VI with an ARP of $48 means you'd pay around $48 per stick if you bought a new box today from a reputable retailer.
